Ticket Hackers

Make the mechanism visible.

MY ROLEVisual concept · Design · Motion
Ticket Hackers identity with a fragmented ticket graphic

A familiar object,
disrupted.

CBS needed an identity and explanations for its ticketing story. Working from the reporting and voiceover, I developed one hacker-inspired visual direction across the package.

The ticket, fragmented graphics and shared palette connect the identity to the explanatory sequences.

Diagram of software bots multiplying ticket purchases

Show how one source
multiplies transactions.

I chose branching purchase paths to explain automated buying. The diagram connects the purchase mechanism to resale and makes the transaction pattern visible.

Drip pricing illustration with accumulating fees and a checkout countdown

Make the added
costs accumulate.

I developed a faucet-and-container metaphor for fees, then paired it with the checkout price and countdown to show the pressure of buying.

Shared color and linework tie the two explanations back to the identity.
